Widgets are small pieces of function that you can add to your site. For example, it could be
a Facebook Page plugin or your site's list of latest comments and they are available from Widget
menu item in the admin panel.
At a high level, there are two types of widgets - widgets that are inserted into the right hand side of the site and widgets that
are displayed on all pages. For example, Latest Comments widget will appear on the right hand side
of your site's pages (depending on your choosing) whereas the Drift Chat Widget will be shown on all
pages.
Custom Widgets
In addition to the pre-defined widgets described above, HelloBox also allows you to add your very own
Custom Widgets. A custom widget can be a piece of Javascript code, HTML code or an embeddable code,
and can be inserted into your site and works just like other widgets described above. Please note that custom widgets are
only available for sites with its
own domain setup.
Widgets can provide extra functionality for your site and we are constantly working on adding more widgets to our list. If you have an idea for a widget, please reach out to us.
