Post community updates into a Discord channel using a channel webhook.

How the Discord integration works

Discord webhooks let HelloBox send updates into a channel without requiring a custom bot. Use this when Discord is where your community already gathers.

Create a channel webhook

  1. Open Discord and choose the channel that should receive updates.
  2. Open the channel settings.
  3. Go to Integrations then Webhooks.
  4. Create a webhook and copy the webhook URL.

Add the webhook to HelloBox

  1. Open Integrations in the admin panel.
  2. Select Discord.
  3. Paste the webhook URL.
  4. Choose the posting frequency.
  5. Save the integration.
